Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Chip Cookies

2/3 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups dried cranberries
2/3 cup white chocolate chips

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, mix well. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to butter mixture slowly, mixing well. Stir in cranberries and white chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack.
These are my favorite cookies. The dough is scrumptious! These also freeze very well.
Enjoy! Stacie

I have a recipe that uses chopped dried apricots in place of the craisins....they are our favorite cookies. Grma Susie

Stacie, I made these these cookies and yes, the dough is good.:-) I ate dough then wasn't hungry enough to try a cookie...that is the way it often goes. Gma was here and she said it was a very good cookie. Mama Linda

These cookies are so good. They even hold their form well at high altitude. Thanks for sharing.
